My husband and I moved from Tulsa to Grove, in 2005, with our four daughters.  The girls wanted to go to a “small town” school.  The girls have grown and we now have our 6th grandchild on the way.  I have always worked in health care, in one way or another.  After an accident, I found Chiropractic and did not want to go anywhere else.  I love working in a positive, healing and supportive environment.  The smiles on the patients faces really makes my day.  When I am not at work, my husband and I like to travel and spend time with family.

'Family is the most important thing to me, so after being a stay at home mom for 26 years, I decided to join the family business. Working here has allowed me to build relationships with co-workers and patients while still being in a family and faith-based environment.  I love spending time with family and being MaeMae to my 5 grandchildren- there is never a dull moment! I am proud to be part of such a positive influence in our community.'

'I had always wanted to work in health care but did not know where to start. I did not want to be in a sad environment every day and I have never liked the idea of relying on prescription medication for “health”. Chiropractic opened my eyes to the healing power of our own bodies and working here has allowed me to share that with my loved ones and so many patients over the years. It is an immensely powerful thing to see a patient come in with sometimes severe pain and leave with little to no pain and a smile. Outside of work, I love fishing, swimming and just spending time with family, regardless of what we are doing. I am very blessed to be a part of this practice and am excited to watch it expand and thrive!'

I enjoy working in a chiropractic office because I love being able to be a part of someone’s journey to wellness, and just building a relationship with each patient. I also really like the fact that a lot of the healing happening in our office is natural and effective with only adjustments! It’s nice coming to a healthcare office and feeling like we are really helping our patients in the safest and most natural way for them. Outside of the office, I love just spending time with friends and family hanging out on the lake and making memories, or lounging at home catching up on a new Netflix series. But, I do have a newfound hobby of planting, and me and my daughter love to go outside and water the plants every evening! I’m happy to be a part of this amazing practice and I am excited to see where the future takes us! We hope to see you soon!'

As a former collegiate basketball player, health and wellness is very important to me. My experience with chiropractors began at the age of 15, when I began seeing Dr. Tim Young in Oklahoma City. The difference I felt throughout my high school years impacted my wellness to such a great extent that I looked into pursuing it as a career. Ultimately I would study sports medicine for two years, including one at the University of Oklahoma as a student athletic trainer, before finishing my degree in the field of Broadcasting, focusing on Sports. Outside of the office, I love spending quality time with my husband, Josh, and Siamese cat, Dixie, or playing music. 

I have been with Lake Health and Chiropractic since May 2022. I grew up in the Afton area and am familiar with the surrounding communities. I am also a graduate of Afton and NEO A&M College. You will mainly see me in the Miami office at the front desk and answering phones. 

Outside of the office, I enjoy being a wife, a mother, the outdoors, and spending time with family.

While I am still a bit new to chiropractic care, it has made such a positive impact and difference on how I feel. I have gained so much more knowledge from this team about many new ways to improve my overall health.
